Diane: Breast Cancer Survivor since 2002

At age 52 Diane was diagnosed with breast cancer, understandably it came as quite a shock to her, "I never thought I would have to think about my own mortality at that time in my life. I never asked God why me? I knew I was not in control of this situation, but God was, so I had to totally trust Him. My life was literally in God’s hands. I knew I was about to embark on the biggest, most challenging adventure of my life so far."
Diane says there were many blessings from friends and family who reached out and touched her heart and uplifted her through prayer. "As fear wanted to overtake me, I learned to face my fears, and not let it have the last word. My faith became stronger day by day as I allowed God to lead me and I totally trusted Him."
The journey through breast cancer and its road to recovery lead Diane toward her mission, "I want to make my life count every day. My heart and passion is to help others thru this cancer journey one day at a time and teach people the importance of good nutrition which empowers them to become proactive in their health care. If there is something I want to do that is important to me, I do it now and do not wait for someday. Life is a journey one day at a time, and I want to enjoy every moment while I am here on this earth."
